Expand AllAfter breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the Domestic Airport in Kathmandu/ Pokhara which is the starting point for your Annapurna Base Camp tour.
As you arrive at the airport, you will receive your boarding card and go through airport security as soon as you arrive. You will receive instructions and important information from the airport officer before boarding the helicopter. From above, you will be treated to a breathtaking view of the highest mountains in the Annapurna region, the deepest valley in the Kali Gandaki, a conservation area, and a few isolated traditional towns.
The chopper lifts off and travels in ABC's direction from the airport. The helicopter offers an amazing overhead perspective of a variety of settings. You will be at ABC in thirty minutes, and when you arrive at Annapurna Base Camp, you will be treated to breathtaking vistas of the Annapurna range. Also, you'll get a bird's-eye perspective of Gurung villages.
You will tour the base camp for around thirty minutes. This is because our bodies are unable to adjust to the rapid elevation change of 1300 meters to 4100 meters in a matter of hours. The flight back to Pokhara airport will take about thirty minutes. You will take in the breathtaking final glimpse of the Himalayan peaks and verdant valleys below as you return by plane to Pokhara airport, perched above the hills.
The flight will take 30 minutes, and you will land at Pokhara/ Tribhuvan Airport. Our staff will assist you in arranging a transfer to the airport terminal. You'll take a ride back to the hotel from here.
