After enjoying breakfast, your second day begins with a guided sightseeing tour of some of Kathmandu's most significant cultural and religious sites. Your itinerary includes visits to Patan, Boudhanath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple.

Patan, located in the south-central part of Kathmandu, is renowned for its rich cultural heritage. The city hosts the Macchindranath Jatra festival, an important event in the Newar community's calendar. The city is steeped in history, and one of its highlights is the Macchindranath Jatra, which coincides with the Bhoto Jatra festival.

Boudhanath Stupa, situated in the northeast of Kathmandu, is another iconic destination in Nepal. It holds immense historical and religious significance, particularly for Buddhists. The stupa is adorned with a large pair of Lord Buddha's eyes, reminiscent of the Swayambhunath Temple. King Songstan Gampo of Tibet commissioned its construction, making it a popular pilgrimage site.

Pashupatinath Temple, located near Boudha, is a short drive away. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this Hindu temple dates back to the Lichhivi Kings' era and is one of Nepal's oldest Hindu temples. Families and individuals gather here to worship Lord Shiva. Armed Police Force personnel provide security, especially during major events like Maha Shivaratri, the Night of Lord Shiva when countless devotees flock to Pashupatinath.

After a full day of exploring these cultural gems, you'll return to your hotel in Kathmandu.
