Nhee Gaa Jatra
Nhee Gaa Jatra (Saatgaule Jatra) is a prominent and well-loved festival celebrated in the western region of the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. This festival takes place at the Bishnu Devi Temple and is named after the "Saat" (seven) "Gaule" (villages) in the vicinity. Saatgaule Jatra is held in the western part of the Kathmandu Valley and is closely associated with seven specific villages: Naikap, Satungal, Boshigaun, Nunkot, Tinthana, Machhegaun, and Kirtipur. The festival derives its name from the amalgamation of "Saat," signifying seven, and "Gaule," signifying village, underscoring its connection with these seven villages.
