Patan, also known as Lalitpur, is a renowned destination in Nepal, situated in the south-central part of Kathmandu. Patan is celebrated for its rich cultural heritage, including the Macchindranath Jatra festival, which is a significant event in the Newar community. The area is steeped in history, with traditions like the Bhoto Jatra festival being celebrated here.

Boudhanath Stupa is located in the northeastern part of Kathmandu and is another prominent attraction in Nepal. It holds great historical significance and is a sacred site for Buddhists. The stupa features a large statue of Lord Buddha's eye, similar to the Swayambhunath Temple. King Songstan Gampo of Tibet built Boudhanath Stupa, making it a popular destination for tourists and worshippers alike. The stupa's grandeur, often referred to as the "Eyes of Buddha," includes Buddha's eyes adorning all four sides.

Pashupatinath Temple, located near Boudha, can be reached in 10-15 minutes by transportation. It is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and has historical ties to the Lichhavi Kings. Pashupatinath Temple is Nepal's oldest Hindu temple, drawing families and friends who come to worship Lord Shiva. It is a site of significant religious importance, particularly during "Maha Shivaratri," the night of Lord Shiva, when people from various regions visit Pashupatinath to pay their respects.
