Upon landing at Tribhuwan International Airport, complete the immigration and customs procedures. Then Head to your hotel and complete the check-in process.

On our second day, start your day with breakfast at the hotel then we will explore Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and Patan Durbar Square.

Begin your sightseeing tour by visiting Swayambhunath Stupa, a prominent Buddhist site perched atop a hill west of Kathmandu. After Swayambhunath, head to Kathmandu Durbar Square, located in the heart of the city. You can savour traditional Nepali cuisine or try international dishes.

Swayambhunath: Swayambhunath Stupa is also known as the Monkey Temple. It is one of Nepal's oldest and most significant religious sites, attracting both Buddhist pilgrims and tourists. At the heart of Swayambhunath is a large white dome-shaped stupa with eyes painted on all four sides. The stupa is surrounded by numerous smaller shrines, temples, and monastic complexes. Swayambhunath is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the heart of Kathmandu. Kathmandu Durbar Square holds great historical, cultural, and architectural significance. The square is surrounded by a collection of palaces, temples, courtyards, and other historical buildings, reflecting the rich artistic and architectural traditions of the Newar people. Some of the notable structures within Kathmandu Durbar Square include Hanuman Dhoka Palace, Kumari Ghar, Taleju Temple, and Kal Bhairav Temple which serves as a window into Nepal's rich history and cultural traditions.

Patan Durbar Square: Patan Durbar Square is also known as Lalitpur Durbar Square which is another UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the city of Lalitpur. The square is renowned for its remarkable collection of palaces, temples, courtyards, and statues that reflect Newar architectural and artistic traditions. Some of the notable attractions within Patan Durbar Square include Krishna Mandir, Patan Museum, Golden Temple, Bhimsen Temple, and Sundari Chowk. These are just a few examples of the many temples, palaces, and courtyards within Patan Durbar Square.

On the third day of the Eco Community Cultural Trek, you will leave Kathmandu and travel to Syangja, a district located in the Gandaki Province of Nepal. Syangja is known for its natural beauty, diverse culture, and warm hospitality. The road trip takes you through scenic landscapes, passing through lush valleys, terraced fields, and charming villages along the way. Once you arrive in Syangja, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture and engage with the community. Syangja is home to various ethnic groups, including Gurung, Magar, and Brahmin communities, each with its distinct traditions and customs.

Driving: 7-8 hrs.

On the fourth day, you will start your day by leaving Pokhara and heading towards the Galeshwor Temple. The temple is located approximately 40 kilometres away from Pokhara. Once you reach Galeshwor, you can begin your trail walk towards Banskharka. The trail offers a beautiful and scenic route, allowing you to immerse yourself in nature. As you trek, you will pass through lush forests, charming villages, and terraced fields.

Take your time to enjoy the surroundings and interact with the locals along the way. The trek from Galeshwor to Banskharka typically takes several hours, depending on your pace and the stops you make along the trail.  Banskharka is a small village known for its tranquillity and natural beauty. Rest and rejuvenate, ready for the next leg of your journey.

Hiking: 4-5 hrs.

On the fifth day, immerse yourself in the beauty of Banskharka as you explore its captivating sights. Begin your day with a hearty breakfast before setting out to discover the village's treasures. Take a stroll around Banskharka, relishing the tranquillity and scenic landscapes of the area. Visit the local temples and monasteries, where you can delve into the spiritual and cultural heritage of the region.

Embark on the nearby hiking trails, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Engage with the welcoming locals, learning about their way of life and traditions. Indulge in the local cuisine, sampling traditional dishes that showcase the flavours of the area. Capture the stunning sunset over the mountains, finding a peaceful spot to reflect on the beauty of Banskharka and the experiences of your journey.

As you explore, ensure you respect the environment and follow any local guidelines or restrictions. Banskharka offers a serene and immersive experience, allowing you to appreciate the natural and cultural wonders of this enchanting village in the heart of the mountains.

On day six, you will continue your journey from Banskharka to Dandakateri. After a fulfilling breakfast, prepare yourself for the day's adventure. Bid farewell to the friendly locals and begin your trek toward Dandakateri. The trail, enveloped by stunning natural beauty, takes you through enchanting forests and picturesque mountain landscapes. As you walk, take breaks to absorb the tranquillity of the surroundings and interact with any villagers you encounter along the way. The distance from Banskharka to Dandakateri is approximately 25-30 kilometres, and the duration of the trek depends on your pace and the stops you make. After several hours of walking, you will arrive at Dandakateri, a small village nestled amidst the mountains. Find suitable accommodation to rest and recharge. Take the remainder of the day to explore the immediate vicinity, revelling in the serenity and marvelling at the natural wonders that surround you. Allow the peaceful ambience of Dandakateri to immerse you in its charm as you prepare for the next phase of your journey.

Hiking: 5-6 hrs.

On day seven, set out on an afternoon walk from Dandakateri to Nagi village. Start your day with a leisurely breakfast in Dandakateri. Take some time to relax and soak in the peaceful atmosphere of the village. In the afternoon, begin your walk towards Nagi village. The distance between Dandakateri and Nagi can vary, but it's typically around 10-15 kilometres. The trail from Dandakateri to Nagi village offers a scenic and pleasant walk through the beautiful mountainous landscape. As you trek, you may come across small streams, lush forests, and charming villages. Upon reaching Nagi village, take some time to explore its unique charm. Nagi is known for its traditional architecture, friendly residents, and stunning mountain views.

Enjoy the rest of the day in Nagi village, taking in the beauty of the surroundings and relishing the serene atmosphere. If time allows, you can also opt to hike to nearby viewpoints or visit any nearby attractions.

On day eight, you have the opportunity to fully explore Nagi village and immerse yourself in its unique culture and beauty. Start your day with a leisurely breakfast in Nagi village. Begin your tour by taking a walk through the village's narrow alleys and traditional houses. Admire the architecture and get a sense of the local way of life. Visit the local monasteries or temples in Nagi village. These sacred sites are not only architecturally stunning but also hold great cultural and religious significance. Explore the natural surroundings of Nagi village. If there are any nearby hiking trails or viewpoints, consider embarking on a short trek to enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountains and landscapes that surround the village. Taste the local cuisine. Nagi Village may offer unique dishes and flavours that are specific to the region. Take the time to appreciate the serene atmosphere of Nagi village. On day nine, you will continue your journey from Nagi village to Mahare or Bhuwane Danda. Start your day in Nagi village with a good breakfast, preparing yourself for the day's hike ahead. Bid farewell to the friendly villagers and set off towards Mahare or Bhuwane Danda. As you hike, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, forests, and valleys. Take your time to appreciate the natural beauty and enjoy the tranquillity of the trail. Along the way, you may encounter small villages or settlements. Upon reaching Mahare or Bhuwane Danda, suitable accommodation for your stay. These locations typically offer a serene and peaceful environment, allowing you to unwind and connect with nature. Take the remainder of the day to relax, explore the surroundings, and enjoy the natural beauty of Mahare or Bhuwane Danda.

On day ten, you will be returning from Mahare Danda to Nagi village. Start your day in Mahare Danda with a good breakfast, ensuring you are prepared for the hike back to Nagi village. Bid farewell to the serene surroundings of Mahare Danda and begin your descent towards Nagi village. Enjoy the scenic beauty and tranquil atmosphere as you make your way back. Take your time to appreciate the natural landscapes and capture any memorable moments through photography or simply by immersing yourself in the surroundings. As you retrace your steps, you may encounter familiar villages or settlements. Take this opportunity to interact with the locals, engage in conversations, and learn more about their way of life and experiences. Upon reaching Nagi village, find suitable accommodation for the night. Reflect on your hiking experience and the memories you've made during your time in Mahare Danda. Take the rest of the day to relax and explore Nagi village at your own pace. Engage in leisurely activities, interact with the locals, or simply enjoy the tranquillity of the village.

On day eleven, you will embark on your journey from Nagi village to Pokhara via Mallaj Lekhphant. Begin your day with an early breakfast in Nagi village. Make sure you have packed your belongings and are prepared for the day's hike. Bid farewell to the locals and start your hike towards Mallaj Lekhphant. The distance and duration of the hike can vary depending on the specific route you take, so consult with locals or use reliable maps for guidance. As you hike towards Mallaj Lekhphant, you will be treated to stunning views of the surrounding mountains and landscapes. Take breaks as needed to rest, hydrate, and appreciate the natural beauty around you. Continue your descent towards Pokhara. The trail from Mallaj Lekhphant to Pokhara may take several hours, depending on the specific route and your pace. Upon reaching Pokhara, find suitable accommodation for your stay. Pokhara is a popular tourist destination known for its stunning lakes, such as Phewa Lake, and vibrant atmosphere. Take the rest of the day to relax and explore the city.

Pokhara offers a wide range of sightseeing options, adventure activities, and cultural experiences. Here some popular attractions we are visiting include Tal Barahi, David’s Fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev, and Bindabasini Temple.

Tal Barahi: Tal Barahi Temple is also known as the Barahi Temple which is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga, specifically the deity Barahi, and a boar-headed incarnation of Durga. The temple is situated on a small island in the middle of Phewa Lake. To reach the temple, you can hire a boat from the lakeside area of Pokhara. It is a short boat ride to the island, and you can enjoy the scenic beauty of the lake and the surrounding mountains during the journey.

David’s Fall: Davis Falls is also known as Devi's Fall which is a popular tourist attraction located in Pokhara, Nepal. It is a unique waterfall that flows into an underground tunnel, creating an impressive sight. Davis Falls is named after a Swiss national named David who tragically drowned in the waterfall's turbulent waters. It is also known as Devi's Fall, referring to the Hindu goddess Devi.

Gupteshwor Mahadev: Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave is a significant religious and tourist site located in Pokhara. It is situated near Davis Falls and is often visited in conjunction with the waterfall. Gupteshwor Mahadev is a limestone cave that holds great religious importance for Hindus. The cave is one of the principal deities in Hinduism and is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Bindabasini Temple: Bindabasini Temple is a popular religious site located in Pokhara. It is one of the oldest and most revered temples in the city, dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga. It is situated on a small hilltop in the old bazaar area of Pokhara. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga, who is considered a fierce manifestation of the divine feminine energy. Devotees worship the deity as a symbol of power, protection, and fertility.

The thirteenth day starts with moving back to Kathmandu. Kathmandu is 210 km from Pokhara and is 8 hour's drive approx. The duration of the drive will depend on traffic conditions, road conditions, and your starting point after reaching Kathmandu you can take a rest inside the hotel or can enjoy the nightlife of Kathmandu.

Driving: 7-8 hrs.

On the last day, it's time for your final departure from Kathmandu. The last day morning will be free and near the time of your flight. You will be at the airport within the time to board your flight for the onward trip.
