On our second day, start your day with breakfast at the hotel, then we will explore Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and Patan Durbar Square.
Begin your sightseeing tour by visiting Swayambhunath Stupa, a prominent Buddhist site perched atop a hill west of Kathmandu. After Swayambhunath, head to Kathmandu Durbar Square, located in the heart of the city.
Swayambhunath: Swayambhunath Stupa is also known as the Monkey Temple. It is one of the oldest and most significant religious sites in Nepal, attracting both Buddhist pilgrims and tourists. At the heart of Swayambhunath is a large white dome-shaped stupa with eyes painted on all four sides. The stupa is surrounded by numerous smaller shrines, temples, and monastic complexes. Swayambhunath is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Kathmandu Durbar Square: Kathmandu Durbar Square is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the heart of Kathmandu. Kathmandu Durbar Square holds great historical, cultural, and architectural significance. The square is surrounded by a collection of palaces, temples, courtyards, and other historical buildings, reflecting the rich artistic and architectural traditions of the Newar people. Some of the notable structures within Kathmandu Durbar Square include Hanuman Dhoka Palace, Kumari Ghar, Taleju Temple, and Kal Bhairav Temple, which serve as a window into Nepal's rich history and cultural traditions.
Patan Durbar Square: Patan Durbar Square is also known as Lalitpur Durbar Square, which is another UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the city of Lalitpur. The square is renowned for its remarkable collection of palaces, temples, courtyards, and statues that reflect Newar architectural and artistic traditions. Some of the notable attractions within Patan Durbar Square include Krishna Mandir, Patan Museum, Golden Temple, Bhimsen Temple, and Sundari Chowk. These are just a few examples of the many temples, palaces, and courtyards within Patan Durbar Square.

On day three you will be driving from Kathmandu to Pokhara, a popular tourist destination and the gateway to the Annapurna mountain range in Nepal. Pokhara is 210 km from Kathmandu and is 8-hour drive approx. Once you reach Pokhara, you can check into your hotel and spend the evening exploring the lakeside area simply relaxing and taking in the beautiful surroundings.

On Day Four of the Royal Trek, you'll leave Pokhara and make your way to Kalikasthan, the next stop on your trekking route. After breakfast in Pokhara, you'll drive to Bijayapur Khola, which serves as the starting point of your trek. The trail initially takes you through terraced fields and small villages, offering glimpses into the rural lifestyle of the locals. As you ascend, you'll be surrounded by lush forests and serene landscapes. The trek to Kalikasthan is relatively gentle, with occasional uphill and downhill sections. Throughout the day, you'll be treated to stunning views of the Annapurna and Manaslu mountain ranges, along with the surrounding landscapes. After several hours of trekking, you'll reach Kalikasthan, a picturesque village situated at an elevation of around 1,370 meters (4,495 feet). Upon arrival, you'll settle into a teahouse or a homestay in Kalikasthan. You can explore the village, interact with the locals, or simply unwind and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the area.

On the fifth day of the Royal Trek, you'll continue your journey from Kalikasthan to Syaklung, immersing yourself in the natural beauty and cultural experiences along the way. After breakfast in Kalikasthan, you'll start your trek towards Syaklung. The trail meanders through terraced fields, rhododendron forests, and charming villages, offering a blend of picturesque landscapes and cultural encounters. As you trek, you'll be surrounded by panoramic views of the Annapurna and Manaslu mountain ranges, providing a stunning backdrop to your journey.
Along the way, you'll pass through villages like Chisapani and Chhap, where you can take breaks, interact with the locals, and learn about their traditions and way of life. After several hours of trekking, you'll reach Syaklung, a scenic village nestled amidst the hills. Syaklung offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and lush valleys.

On the sixth day of the Royal Trek, you'll trek from Syaklung to Chisapani, enjoying scenic landscapes and a tranquil environment along the way.
After breakfast in Syaklung, you'll begin your trek toward Chisapani. The trail winds through beautiful rhododendron forests, charming villages, and terraced fields, offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere. As you ascend and descend along the trail, you'll be treated to stunning views of the surrounding hills, valleys, and mountains. The panoramic vistas of the Annapurna and Manaslu ranges will continue to accompany you on your trek.
As you approach Chisapani, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Chisapani is a small village situated at an elevation of around 2,215 meters (7,267 feet), known for its panoramic sunrise and sunset views. Upon arrival in Chisapani, you'll check into a teahouse or guesthouse.

On the seventh day of the Royal Trek, you'll trek from Chisapani back to Pokhara, marking the end of your trekking journey. After breakfast in Chisapani, you'll start your descent toward Sundari Danda. The trail takes you through scenic landscapes, passing through lush forests and terraced fields. You'll enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding hills and valleys as you make your way down.
After several hours of trekking, you'll reach Sundari Danda, where you'll bid farewell to the mountains and the trekking trail. From there, you'll be transferred on a private vehicle back to Pokhara. Once you arrive in Pokhara, you'll be transferred to your hotel, where you can relax and rejuvenate after your trek. The rest of the day is yours to explore the lakeside city, take a boat ride on Phewa Lake, or simply unwind and enjoy the stunning views of the Annapurna range.

The fifth day starts with moving back to Kathmandu. After breakfast, you will be taken on a road trip back to Kathmandu. Kathmandu is 210 km from Pokhara and is a 7-hour drive. The duration of the drive will depend on traffic conditions, road conditions, and your starting point After reaching Kathmandu, you can take a rest inside the hotel or can enjoy the nightlife of Kathmandu.

On the ninth day, it's time for your final departure from Kathmandu. The last day morning will be free and near the time of your flight. You will be at the airport within the time to board your flight for the onward trip.
