By afternoon, we arrive in Sermathang (2,600m), a charming village boasting panoramic Himalayan views. Visit the 300-year-old Yangrima Monastery, its ancient prayer wheels humming with devotion, or stroll through apple orchards heavy with fruit. As the sun sets, join locals for butter tea and stories of mountain life, a perfect farewell to our trekking adventure. After breakfast in Sermathang (2,600m), we begin our gentle 3-hour descent through terraced farmlands and subtropical forests to Melamchi Pul Bazaar (800m). This final trek offers last glimpses of rural Nepali life - farmers working fields, children walking to school, and colorful bazaars coming to life.

In Melamchi, we celebrate our journey with a hearty lunch of local specialties before boarding our vehicle for Kathmandu. The 4-hour drive winds along the Indrawati River, passing vibrant towns and dramatic gorges. Arriving in Kathmandu by late afternoon, you'll appreciate hot showers and urban comforts at your hotel. The evening is yours to relax, savor a farewell dinner, and reflect on two weeks of Himalayan wonders - from Langtang's icy peaks to Helambu’s  warm hospitality.
