VISITORS FROM INDIA, BANGLADESH AND THE MALDIVES
For Indian Citizen:
Permits are required for visitors from India. You can request it here before you travel. If you are travelling with a tour operator or staying in a hotel, you can also make this application on their behalf. There is no need to pay in advance.
You can also apply directly to the Immigration Bureau. However, please note that depending on the number of applicants, the waiting time may be longer. If you are applying for an entry permit, you will need a passport photo. You will also need to have insurance for the duration of your visit. You can arrange this in advance or join upon arrival. Payments to the SDF must be made when applying for a permit online or in person.
For Bangladesh and Maldives Citizens:
Visas are required for visitors from Bangladesh and the Maldives, but the steps are the same as for Indian nationals. You can apply and pay for your relevant SDF online and take out travel insurance before your trip or directly on arrival.
We recommend obtaining a permit or visa in advance.
