Gomphu Kora is a renowned religious festival and pilgrimage held in Bhutan. It occurs at the Gomphu Kora temple, situated in eastern Bhutan near the town of Trashigang. Gomphu Kora is celebrated for its unique blend of religious and cultural significance. The festival's highlight is the circumambulation (kora) around the temple and its sacred surroundings. Pilgrims and visitors walk around the temple and its courtyard, incorporating this kora into their religious observance. Legend has it that this kora can purify one's sins and lead to spiritual enlightenment. This festival is celebrated from 5th April 2025 to 7th April 2025.
