After having breakfast, you will leave for sightseeing at Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and  Bhaktapur.
Pashupatinath is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, located on the banks of the Bagmati River in Kathmandu, Nepal. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is an important pilgrimage destination, especially during Maha Shivaratri. The temple complex features golden pagoda-style roofs, intricate wood carvings, and sacred ghats where Hindu cremation rituals take place. Non-Hindus cannot enter the main temple but can explore the surrounding areas, which include small shrines, ashrams, and a bustling spiritual atmosphere with sadhus (holy men).

Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest and most significant Buddhist stupas in the world, located in Kathmandu, Nepal. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is a major pilgrimage center for Tibetan Buddhists and a hub of spiritual activity. The massive white dome, topped with a golden spire and the all-seeing eyes of Buddha, symbolizes enlightenment. The stupa is surrounded by Tibetan monasteries, prayer wheels, and vibrant markets, creating a peaceful yet lively atmosphere.

Bhaktapur is a historic city in Nepal’s Kathmandu Valley, known for its well-preserved culture, traditional architecture, and rich heritage. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it features Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Nyatapola Temple, and Pottery Square. The city is famous for its intricate wood carvings, vibrant festivals, and Juju Dhau (King Curd), offering a glimpse into Nepal’s ancient Newari culture.

After having breakfast, we will leave for sightseeing at Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, and Patan Durbar Square.
Kathmandu Durbar Square is the ancient Royal residential quarter, and also the Temple house of the Kumari (Living Goddess) around Durbar Square. It is one of the major attractions in the Kathmandu Valley and holds immense cultural and historical significance. Kathmandu Durbar Square was once the royal palace complex of the Malla and Shah Kings of Nepal. The square is surrounded by historic palaces, courtyards, and temples, showcasing a unique blend of Hindu and Buddhist architectural styles. The Hanuman Dhoka Palace, with its carved wooden windows and doors, stands as a testament to the craftsmanship of the Malla kings who ruled the valley. The Kumari Ghar, home to the living goddess Kumari, adds a mystical dimension to the square, where visitors can catch a glimpse of the revered deity during certain times. After that, we will be visiting Swayambhunath.

Swayambhunath is also known as The Monkey Temple which is a UNESCO WORLD Heritage Site. Legend has it that when Kathmandu Valley was a lake 2000 years ago, a single lotus flower grew at the center of the lake. When Saint Manjushree, the Bodhisatva drained the lake with a single slash of his sword, the lotus settled on top of a hill and magically turned into a stupa. Hence, Swayambhunath is also known as a Self-Created stupa. This ancient stupa is the most sacred Buddhist shrines in Nepal.

Patan Durbar Square, situated in the center of Lalitpur, Nepal, is a stunning example of traditional Newari architecture and a testament to the rich cultural and historical heritage of the Kathmandu Valley. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is renowned for its intricate wooden carvings, stone sculptures, and grand courtyards. The square is anchored by the ancient royal palace, which now houses the Patan Museum, acclaimed for its collection of bronze statues and sacred artifacts. Notable temples in the square include the Krishna Mandir, with its exquisite stone carvings depicting scenes from Hindu epics, and the Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, also known as the Golden Temple, a revered Buddhist monastery.
