Surrounded by this enchanting landscape, you’ll ascend steadily to a yak herders’ camp at Tshojo. From there, the trail continues upward to Gochula Pass at 4,200 meters, where panoramic views of the majestic mountains await.

After crossing the pass, the route follows a ridge, offering a scenic walk filled with breathtaking vistas. A gradual descent then brings you to the peaceful campsite at Womji, nestled deep in the mountains—a perfect place to rest and soak in the natural beauty of your trek.

Your trek begins with a vigorous climb through thick juniper and rhododendron forests up to Gochhila Pass, sitting at 4,350 meters. From this vantage point, you’ll be rewarded with sweeping views of the Tshejala mountain range. The trail then descends toward Tshejalum, where you’ll pass by traditional yak herders’ settlements. During springtime, the path is adorned with a brilliant array of wildflowers, creating a stunning contrast against the alpine backdrop.

As you continue, you’ll reach Tshejala Pass, tracing an ancient trade route that historically linked Haa with Tibet. Pause here for a peaceful picnic lunch by the lakeside, where the still waters reflect the sky and surrounding peaks, creating a perfect backdrop for relaxation. After lunch, begin your descent through rolling hills and meadows, passing through landscapes dotted with alpine flora and scattered yak herder trails.

Your day concludes at a tranquil campsite in a yak meadow near Tsojo, offering a fresh and rewarding perspective on Bhutan’s diverse terrain and untouched wilderness.

On the final day of your trek, begin with a gentle descent through a lush forest of juniper and rhododendron, where the cool mountain air and the scent of pine create a serene farewell to the wilderness. The trail leads you steadily toward the Talila Pass, a quiet and scenic threshold that marks your return to the Haa Valley and the end of your trekking journey.

Upon crossing the pass, the vast expanse of the valley opens up once again, signalling the successful completion of your Himalayan adventure. Awaiting at the trail's end is your vehicle, ready to transport you comfortably back to Paro. As you make the drive through Bhutan’s breathtaking landscape, take time to reflect on the unforgettable experiences, the cultural encounters, and the tranquil beauty that have defined your journey through this remote corner of the world.
