Expand AllOn the first day, you will be transferred to Darbhanga airport from Delhi airport which is around 910 km of air distance from Delhi and it takes around 1-2 hours to reach. After arriving at Darbhanga airport we will directly head toward Janakpur by use of a private vehicle. Janakpur is a city in Nepal. From Darbhanga, it covers a distance of around 80km and it takes around 2-3 hours to reach.
Janakpur is a historic city located in the Dhanusa District of Nepal. It is often referred to as Janakpurdham and is considered the birthplace of Sita, the wife of Lord Rama in Hindu mythology.
The city is renowned for its beautiful Janaki Mandir, a grand temple dedicated to Goddess Sita. This temple is a masterpiece of architecture and a major pilgrimage site for Hindus from Nepal and India. Janakpur is also famous for its annual Vivah Panchami festival, celebrating the divine marriage of Lord Rama and Sita.

The second day starts with the morning breakfast. After breakfast, we will start our day by exploring Janakpur. Janakpur is one of the most significant religious and cultural sites in the country and holds great importance for devotees of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita. Here some popular attractions we are visiting include Janaki Mandir, Ram Mandir, Bibaha Mandir, Ganga Sagar, and Dhanusha Sagar.
Janaki Mandir: Start your day by exploring Janaki Mandir, also known as the Janakpur Dham. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Sita and is one of the most important religious sites in Nepal. It is believed to be the birthplace of Sita and showcases beautiful architecture and intricate woodwork.
Ram Mandir: Next, visit the Ram Mandir, a temple dedicated to Lord Ram, Sita's husband. It is located near the Janaki Mandir and is an important pilgrimage site for Hindus. The temple features a large statue of Lord Ram, and you can witness various religious ceremonies and rituals being performed here.
Bibaha Mandir (Marriage Temple): Afterward, head to the Bibaha Mandir, also known as the Marriage Temple. This temple is famous for reenacting the marriage ceremony of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita. You can witness the elaborate depiction of their wedding, which attracts many devotees and tourists.
Dhanush Sagar: Enjoy a peaceful day by visiting Dhanush Sagar, a holy pond located near Janaki Mandir. According to mythology, this pond is believed to be the spot where Lord Ram broke Lord Shiva's bow to win Sita's hand in marriage. Take a leisurely walk around the pond and relax in its serene surroundings.
Ganga Sagar: Continue your exploration by visiting Ganga Sagar, another sacred pond in Janakpur. It is believed to have been created when Lord Ram shot an arrow into the ground to fetch water for a ritual. The pond is considered holy, and many devotees come here to take a dip in its waters.

On the third day after breakfast, we will head toward Halesi Mahadev. It is 215km from Janakpur and it takes around 6-7 hours to reach via private vehicle.
Halesi Mahadev is situated in the Khotang district of Nepal which is 3100-4734ft. above sea level. On the way, we can get to see different types of rivers and lakes and we can get a beautiful view of the greenery scene of forests area. In this district, there is one huge cave named Halesi Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. And also there is one large Buddhist monastery which is named the Second Lumbini of Nepal. It is a holy place for Buddhists and especially for Hinduism religions. After reaching Halesi Mahadev of Khotang district we will transfer you to your respective hotel nearby Halesi and will take some rest.

On the fourth day after breakfast, we will go and worship in Halesi Mahadev cave. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Gautam Buddha. We can worship both Buddha and Lord Shiva. After these activities, we will return to the hotel to take some rest.

On the fifth day after breakfast, we will move toward Kathmandu. It is 225km to reach Kathmandu and it takes around 6-7 hours to reach. On the way, we can get a beautiful view of different hills. Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal, there is much cultural heritage situated in Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu we will transfer you to your respective hotel.

On the sixth day, we will do full-day sightseeing in Kathmandu like Pashupatinath, Boudha, and Patan.
Boudha is a holy place for the Buddhist religions where most Buddhist cultures used to go and worship the Lord Buddha. It is also known as the beautiful tourist destination of Nepal. It is located in the center and northeast of Kathmandu.
Pashupatinath Temple is the holy place for the Hindu religion which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This is currently the largest temple in Nepal. Among these many of the people used to visit there to worship Lord Shiva who is also known as Mahadev (the lord of animals). This temple was built by King Prachanda Deva in the Lichhivi period. The festival named Maha Shivarati is observed on the fourteen days of the waning half of the lunar month of Falgun. Many Nepalese worship Lord Shiva on the occasion of Maha Shivarati offering different foods like fruits, leaves, sweets, and milk which should be given to Lord Shiva.
Swayambhunath Temple is the holy place for the Buddhist religion. Many people use to visit this place on the occasion of Buddha Jayanti. It is very similar to Boudha. It is located at the top of the hill area. Also, it is known as the Monkey Temple of Nepal. It is among the oldest cultural heritage sites of Nepal. It was founded by the great-grandfather of King Manadeva at the beginning of the fifth century C.E. There is a large statue with a pair of eyes on each of the four sides.

On the seventh day after breakfast, we will transfer you to the International Airport for your onward journey.
